Over the years and after many visits, The Temple of Monte Grisa keeps inspiring me in terms of space, light, time and duration.
More as a sculpture and less as architecture.
Designed by Antonio Gucci after sketches by Antonio Santin, bishop of Trieste.
It was built between 1963 and 1965, inaugurated on 22 May 1966.
Many of the ideas and discoveries I used in my “Symmetrium” series has its foundations in Monte Grisa.
I am looking forward in our next meeting in June for her 50 anniversary.
